Operation: Go Commando

Yes, yes, yes.... I KNOW I've been holding out on you for the past week (or so!) - but I've had one SERIOUSLY AWESOME scheme brewing behind the scenes here at "Amy Central" - and NOW it's ALL SYSTEMS GO!  So here we go - introducing...

OPERATION: Go Commando

The Team at BLC have thrown me the challenge of all challenges! They were so keen on helping me hit another amazing milestone, that they've thrown down the gauntlet, and I simply could not say no!

Team BLC have challenged me to get into double figures (my elusive double figures!!), down to 95kgs, by the season finale of Biggest Loser Families - and my reward.... I GET TO MEET COMMANDO STEVE!

Ohhhhh yes you heard right!!!   *Faint, drool, swoon, convulse*.... !!!!!   You bet!

Now, whilst you may think this is an "easy challenge" - let me assure you it is NOT!
I have about 7 weeks to drop 10 kilos - and let me tell you that my body does NOT perform well under pressure!!  I average half a kilo a week, and that just ain't gonna cut it!!

Not once in my past three years have I had a "scheduled loss" - irrespective of how well I've performed, how good I've been and how well all my numbers have tallied up - and never have I had a series of perfect losses in a row!!

To say I'm somewhat nervous about this challenge is an understatement - given that Team BLC have decided to include you ALL in on the secret and there's lots of eyes watching my every move!!!   (EEK!)

HOWEVER - I am one very lucky Miss over here. Team BLC have organised gym access AND a PT at CityFit in Bathurst for me, AND have arranged a program to help generate the results I need!  Challenge aside, how awesome are THEY?!

... and you guys get to stay in the loop!  There'll be regular updates with my progress, I'll let you in on some of my highs and lows, keep you updated with my other challenges (I have a few up my sleeves too!) - and if you so feel inclined, jump on board and DO THIS WITH ME!   Let's see if we can kick some kilos butt in the next couple of months - together!!  (check out the BLC webby for details!)

So, enough chit chat!  Operation: Go Commando is ON!

Now, I'm off to get myself geared up for a BIG week ahead...  Double figures here I come!!!!

(WOOHOOOOOOOO!!!)

  11. I just got an email about this! OMG, how exciting! You can do it Amy! I can't believe they organised a PT and a program and everything. To tell you the truth, hun, if they've devised a plan that'll drop you that 10kg in 7 weeks that's a pretty amazing bonus right there - you were so determined to crack that! Maybe this is what all those amazing 2+kg losses have been about the last couple of weeks ;-) Go Amy, you little star.

  12. Ohhh IF ONLY those crazy 2+kgs losses were to do with this!!! Here's the insider goss about THAT!

I threw a MAJOR spanner in the works when those happened (out of the blue - they really did come out of nowhere!) as initially, it was challenged I just get into "double figures". Because of those two bloody losses (nearly 4.5kgs in two weeks!) they've now raised the bar to drop nearly 10kgs in 7 weeks (from my starting point NOW), my target being 95kgs! EEK!!! I can only hope, NOW (post insane losses) that there's still some crazy movement left in the tank!!!! It's VERY rare for my body to drop such big numbers - even rarer that I can follow them up consistently! (I usually falter for a few weeks after...eek eek eek!)

... either way, stubbornness will certainly see to it that I don't give up that easily..!!!!!

    ;)

  16. You are so AWESOME ... you WILL smash this .. in fact its my prediction you will go far lower than the 95kgs .. I reckon you will hit the 90kg mark ... you have been smashing the weigh ins the last few weeks .. bring on the finale :-)

  18. Just think of the consistent 2-4kg losses the BL contestants have each week on the show, even after initial big losses have stopped. If anyone can help you, these pros can. And I'm sure if you're struggling they'll adjust the program for you. Plus you've got so much love coming at you right now, how can you possibly fail? lol. We just won't allow it :-P

  19. Good luck Amy - with all that support behind you and your own motivation - you are going to smash it out of the park.

Congratulations on your amazing success so far and Good Luck for this incredible challenge.

    Go you :)
