Good luck with everything you're juggling. Personally I am terrified about embarking on this journey to re- set my head re food, exercise and wine. Will I be the same me at the end? Who knows! We really have to question the motives of those that judge others. (tall poppy syndrome comes to mind) Your words, story, and support community you have created have made a difference in my life and I thank you for that. Take the time to look after Number #1. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8206822992661481335.post-31943441715373322082012-01-28T09:39:29.541+11:002012-01-28T09:39:29.541+11:00((((Hugs))) Just hugs and a big old keep going!((((Hugs))) Just hugs and a big old keep going!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8206822992661481335.post-51677654577618642682012-01-28T09:33:01.281+11:002012-01-28T09:33:01.281+11:00Tears running down face you have once again hit th...Tears running down face you have once again hit the nail right on the head. Reading this post has me wanting to give you ...Wow. Reading this post has me wanting to give you a big ole hug Amy! Despite what you seem to believe right now, I believe that you DO deserve our respect. you deserve the recognition for what you have done. and i also believe that "Amy" is still there. Maybe her hiatus during the past 10 months has been for a reason. Maybe she needed some time and space to make some adjustments: to her new home (read: body), to her new life, to her new environment.

Yes she may be exhausted from the roller coaster of publicity for the last 10 months. Yes she may be feeling lonely and want someone to love (don't we all). But despite that, as you acknowledged yourself, through every heartache there is learning. Through every breakdown is a breakTHROUGH! From what you have said, you have learned big lessons on how much energy you have to give away at any given moment (i've actually been learning exactly the same lesson recently). Those all important boundaries have now been put into place (and im sure will continue to be) and the critics can simply go jump. What is it they say? What other people think of you is none of your business? And at the end of the day, if people don't have the insight to give you the love and care you so clearly deserve, they have no right to receive your love and care.

You know the only thing i REALLY see in your post Amy? Courage. The immense courage to stand up and say enough is enough. The courage to tell the world to go to hell. The courage to say the status quo of the last 10 months is no longer enough and to set about CREATING what it is you DO want. The courage to go on a search and rescue mission to find Amy again. And the courage to say "I DESERVE BETTER THAN THIS" and to continue your journey to GET it!

THAT Amy, deserves RESPECT!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8206822992661481335.post-10555775757847920552012-01-28T02:02:48.137+11:002012-01-28T02:02:48.137+11:00I came across this quote from Bill Cosby recently ...I came across this quote from Bill Cosby recently and I thought of you -
"I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody".

Although failure is not something we have ever seen in you, take some time for Amy - you both deserve it !!!

We are both very proud of you.
